Health & Wellbeing at Work 2025: Show round-up and highlights!
On March 11th and 12th, our Medigold team once again descended on Birmingham’s NEC for our favourite event of the year – the Health & Wellbeing at Work Show! And what an incredible two days it was! From insightful talks to interactive activities at our stand, this year’s event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with businesses looking to enhance workplace health, as well as have a good old get-together with colleagues and chat with fellow occupational health industry professionals.
A packed conference hall for our experts
One of the standout moments of the event was James Clark’s talk on cannabis, THC, and CBD in the workplace. The session drew a packed crowd, and his insights into workplace drug testing, legal risks, and best practices for HR teams were met with fantastic engagement from attendees, reinforcing the growing need for clarity around CBD use and employee fitness for work.

Equally impactful was Dr. Louise Hancock’s session on Oncology and the Workplace. She shared key findings from her research on infection risks for employees undergoing chemotherapy and explored barriers to returning to work after treatment. Her discussion on how recent advancements in systemic treatments like immunotherapy impact work fitness sparked a lot of meaningful conversations, and we were incredibly proud of her!

Our Medigold MOT clinic was a hit!
Attendees took full advantage of our free Health MOTs, stopping by the Medigold MOT clinic to check their vital signs and gain valuable health insights including weight, height, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol & HDL, blood glucose and haemoglobin.
We loved seeing so many people prioritising their wellbeing and conducted over 50 Health MOT’s over the two days. Nice work, everyone!
Spinning for gold
Our MediGOLD Wheel of Fortune proved to be a real crowd-pleaser! Visitors to Stand 44 tried their luck to win prizes, including eco-friendly lunch boxes, bamboo wireless chargers, reusable water bottles, and even Amazon vouchers. It was great to see so many people getting involved and walking away with a little something extra.

The future of workplace health
Beyond the activities and giveaways, this show was a fantastic opportunity for us to meet with businesses committed to improving workplace health. We had so many valuable conversations about how Medigold Health’s services can support employees and create healthier, happier workplaces.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, attended our talks, and engaged with us over the two days. If you didn’t get a chance to speak with us at the show, don’t worry – you can still get in touch to learn how we can support your organisation.
Thanks for a great event, everyone!
