Proud Sponsors of the ARIOPS Annual Conference
The Association of Railway Industry Occupational Practitioners’ (ARIOPS) annual conference took place online last Wednesday and Medigold Health were very proud to sponsor the event, which saw a number of our OH Physicians and client account managers in virtual attendance.
ARIOPS aims to maintain and improve the standard of professional practice of occupational health and related matters within the Rail Industry by bringing together OH professionals who have an interest in the sector, and the conference this year featured an exciting line-up of speakers, including Phil Barrett, Head of Safety and Operations Development at Rail Delivery Group; Dr Clare Rayner, a former Consultant Occupational Physician; and @Dr Richard Peters, Chief Medical Officer for Network Rail.
Among the topics they discussed were the impact that COVID has had on the rail industry and how it will shape the future, and the implications of Brexit on licencing regulations and medical standards.
The conference was streamed live on 9th June and involved over 100 participants, with delegates given access to a virtual exhibition space where they were able to view video features on all the exhibiting companies, link through to their websites and social media platforms, and speak live with their reps via Zoom, as well as network with other attendees.
We would like to extend our congratulations to BHSF for their amazing work organising the event, which proved to be a huge success.
Check out the ARIOPS website to learn more about their work.
