Highlights from our Health Surveillance Conference Roadshow

We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our recent Health Surveillance Conference Roadshow, which took place in Milton Keynes and Sheffield. These events were fantastic opportunities for Medigold Health to update our technicians on the latest industry guidance, while also providing the perfect opportunity for some socialising with colleagues!
What was the purpose of the roadshow?
The main aim was to ensure all our technicians stay current with the latest developments and best practices in the industry, enhancing their professional growth to deliver top-notch service to our clients and patients.
In true Medigold Health fashion, the roadshow provided a perfect setting for some good old-fashioned mingling! It allowed our technicians to meet colleagues from different locations, bond, share stories, and truly feel part of the Medigold family.

Who was it aimed at? And what was involved?
The roadshow was tailor-made for our Occupational Health Technicians, with our Health Surveillance team leading the way. They provided updates on the latest industry practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in occupational health.
We kicked off with a warm welcome from Israr Ahmed, our Health Surveillance Director. The agenda was packed with a comprehensive Health Surveillance review presented by our clinical leads Hayley Betteridge and Dominic Gonzales. Attendees benefited from insightful Audit Feedback, an engaging Alcohol and Drug training session, an informative Audio update, a Chester Step demonstration, and a lively Q&A session.
Was the roadshow a success?
Absolutely! The roadshow was an enormous success and a truly valuable (and fun) experience for everyone involved. Be sure to check out the video on the right for some highlights.
Our technicians walked away with greater knowledge and confidence in the latest developments and industry best practices. The events were also great for team bonding, creating those all-important support networks needed in our industry.
As Israr Ahmed, Health Surveillance Director, noted, “I always look forward to the OHT conference each year; it’s a great chance to catch up with colleagues, old and new! We spend the evening sharing stories and learning from each other, which helps build and strengthen our team relationships. The event also allows us to deliver updates on clinical standards, best practices, and our divisional goals.”
– Israr Ahmed, Health Surveillance Director
Until next year!
