Proud Sponsor of the GB Junior Women’s Inline Hockey team

Funding for female sports is harder to obtain and many are self-funded and rely heavily on sponsorship, Medigold Health is, therefore, delighted to be the proud sponsor of the GB Junior Women’s Inline Hockey team.

The GB Junior Women’s Inline Hockey team recently opened the 2019 World Roller Games 2019 in Barcelona with a fixture against China, they then went on to face Canada and Italy.

Grace Garbett, captain of the GB Junior Women’s Inline Hockey team, said: “The World Roller Games is the most important event in our sport’s calendar and, as we are completely self-funded, the support of Medigold Health was vital for helping Team GB to compete on this international stage. Every one of the girls is really grateful for their help.”

The World Roller Games brings together more than 4,000 athletes from 80 countries, playing in 11 different sports, including speed skating, skateboarding, inline freestyle and roller derby.
