Supporting the next generation of Occupational Health Doctors
As one of the UK’s leading Occupational Health providers, Medigold Health feel that we have a responsibility to inspire and support the next generation of Occupational Health Doctors, and we are proud to be accredited by the National School of Occupational Health and the Faculty Of Medicine (FOM) for training in Occupational Medicine.
Over the years we have employed a number of trainee Occupational Health Doctors, overseeing their training to achieve Accredited Specialist/Consultant level qualification in Occupational Health, and we are committed to continuing to recruit and invest in developing talented clinicians who wish to pursue a career in this increasingly vital area of medicine.
One such clinician is Consultant Occupational Physician Dr Yvette Martyn, who completed her training with Medigold Health this month, successfully achieving MFOM (Membership of the FOM) and Accredited Specialist status.
Based in Nottingham, Dr Martyn joined us in March 2019, 19 months into her Occupational Health Doctor training, and has since contributed significantly to the ongoing education of our team of OHPs, playing a key role in organising and co-ordinating our training and CPD programmes. She has also recently undertaken her postgraduate certificate in Medical Education and is keen to pursue her interest in this area to further support the training of her colleagues in the future.
We are delighted that she has chosen to continue working with Medigold Health in a consultant capacity – she is a real asset to our team and we would like to congratulate her on her tremendous achievement.
